We promote…
We are proud to have partnered with Reconciliation Australia in the development of our Reconciliation Action Plan.
Job Centre Australia shares Reconciliation Australia’s vision for everyone to wake to a reconciled, just and equitable Australia and we are dedicated to ‘Closing the social, economic and health Gap’ between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians, through our training and employment programs which have the unanimous and full support of our Board of Directors.
Our organisation has made a commitment to prepare and find employment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as one of its strategic priorities; especially youth for the future, as articulated in Job Centre Australia’s strategic plan.
What we do
Job Centre Australia’s Aboriginal Employment Pathway Program (AEPP) is designed to provide culturally appropriate support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to overcome barriers to gaining and maintaining employment. We individually tailor the support required, whether it be training, on the job support or mentoring to help in the transition to employment.
